Weber County Busted Mugshots
After an arrest comes booking. At the Weber County Correctional Facility, this work falls to the Sheriff's Office Corrections function. Its Admission, Release, and Classification Bureau handles booking for county agencies and for other counties too. Fingerprints get taken. So do photographs. Staff walk the person through the booked charges, bail requirements, and any holds, then start classification. A Weber County jail result is a lead about who is in custody right now, nothing more.
The mugshot is the identification photo from that intake. Weber County's public roster does not show one. The roster and the photo are two separate records questions. A roster row may help identify someone currently held, while the Sheriff's Records Section decides any request for a booking record or a releasable photograph.
WCSO says Reception and Orientation classification can take up to 72 hours. That is internal facility timing only. The clock makes no promises. It does not guarantee a roster row, an online photo, or a finished record request inside that window.
Weber Booking Record Fields
The public Weber County roster uses separate first-name and last-name search boxes. The alphabetical list shows booking time, name parts, gender, age, and a Details link. A detail page goes further. It adds physical descriptors, a case number when one exists, the booking date, and state-statute charge labels. Bail, fines, bond, and amounts still due appear there too. What is missing matters as well. No booking image shows up. There is no release date, release reason, jail assignment, arrest narrative, or arresting agency. Court date, disposition, and full booking history are also absent. A missing field never proves the opposite fact.
| Public field | What it helps establish |
|---|---|
| Name and when booked | A starting point to compare a possible current-custody match. |
| Gender, age, height, weight, hair, eyes | Descriptors available in the inspected display. |
| Case number and booked charges | Potential identifiers for a records request or court search, not a final outcome. |
| Bail, fine, bond, amount | Financial custody fields when populated, subject to later change. |
| Photo and release fields | Not displayed in the inspected public roster interface. |
- Booking
- The intake record created when a jail receives a person.
- Arraignment
- An early court appearance. WCSO says a person in custody is scheduled on the next court day.
- Bond
- A financial condition that may be cash-only or bondable.
- Disposition
- The court's eventual result, found in a court record rather than a jail roster.
Save the booking date and case number when a Weber County search shows them. Those give the records officer or a court search a firmer lead than a bare name. People do drop off the roster. Release or transfer removes a listing while a court case can still be pending. State supervision, again, is a different category of record.
Weber Booking Photo Requests
Want an official Weber County booking record or photo? Skip the public roster. Use the Sheriff's written GRAMA process instead. WCSO Records handles inmate records and takes requests electronically or in person. Include what is actually known. Full name helps, plus date of birth if available and a rough booking date. A case or booking number helps too. So does a clear description of the item sought. The Sheriff's request materials also ask for identifying detail, contact information, and valid government photo ID.
- Use the Weber County NextRequest portal or follow WCSO's in-person instructions.
- Identify the request as a Weber County booking record, booking photograph, or both, without inventing an identifier.
- Submit the required identification and read the classification and fee information in WCSO's response.
- Allow the stated ten-day grace period for a report copy. A redaction, denial, extension, or notice that WCSO does not maintain the record can change the result.
The published WCSO fee schedule lists mug shots at $10, up to nine per page. Staff time can add charges for compiling, formatting, or tailoring a record. Expect estimated fees upfront once costs look likely to pass $50. A listed fee does not guarantee release of an image. The photo-request form also requires the statutory statement on publish-for-pay use before the office evaluates anything.

The WCSO Records Request page sets out the official request route along with the published fee context.

The request page draws a clear line between a public information display and the Records Section's formal review of a particular booking file.
Note: A narrow request gives the Records Section a workable starting point without turning a roster match into an unverified claim.
Utah Rules for Busted Mugshots
Utah's Government Records Access and Management Act, known as GRAMA, governs record access for Weber County offices. The county sends a requester to the department that keeps the record. For a Sheriff booking record, that means WCSO Records. Utah Code ยง17-72-802 covers booking photographs and publish-for-pay use. A sheriff may not hand over a copy for a qualifying publish-for-pay placement. A photo requester must sign the required statement. The statute is not a blanket rule that every image is public, nor that every online publisher must take material down.
Utah Courts keeps sealed and expunged matters off Xchange. Juvenile delinquency, child-welfare, and termination-of-parental-rights cases are excluded from the public Xchange route as well. The court's adult-expungement materials describe a statutory process that turns on the facts of each case. An order changes government records as written. It does not erase independent news reporting or a search index on its own. Utah Courts' adult expungement information is the official entry point for court process and eligibility guidance.

Start with the agency or court that holds the record. That office is the only real fixer. Sometimes the origin page is gone or has changed. In that case, Google's Remove Outdated Content tool can request a cache refresh. It won't force a lawful page off its origin source, though.
Secondary publishers sometimes offer correction or removal forms. Examples include RecentlyBooked's policy, Mugshots.com's record-maintenance page, and the Arrests.org form. These are private policies. They are not an official Weber County remedy, and availability can shift. Never pay an intermediary to bypass an official records or court path.
Finding Weber Mugshots and Arrests
Start with the question you actually need answered. Is the person in the county jail right now? Released? Facing charges in court? Under state supervision? Each answer lives somewhere different, and no single Weber County source covers them all. For present custody, the WCSO roster is the official online starting point. But it has limits. It won't give you a full history of Weber arrests, confirm that someone was released, or show how a case ended in court. Those answers take other routes.
- Search the WCSO Current Inmate Roster by first and last name for a current county-custody lead.
- For an official booking, release, or photo record, submit a specific request to WCSO Records.
- For what happened after booking, search Utah Courts Xchange and compare party, case number, date, court, and hearing history.
- For someone under Utah Department of Corrections supervision, use the UDC Offender Search.
- For federal prison or ICE custody, use the BOP locator or ICE locator, not a Weber County row.
Does a missing roster result mean someone was released? Not necessarily. Several things can explain a gap. The person may have been transferred to another facility, released, booked under a slightly different name, or had the record restricted. Contact WCSO Records for the official word on any booking or release.
For custody alerts, Weber County points the public to VINE/VINELink, reachable at 1-877-884-8463. Registration gets you automated notice when a custody status changes. Keep its limits in mind, though. VINE is not a jail roster, a booking-photo archive, or a court record system. The sheriff's office also offers no public mobile app for rosters or mugshots.
Weber County Busted Mugshot Sources
Start with official sources. They confirm who is actually in custody and which office holds the record. The county's public roster shows no booking photo. Photo requests go through GRAMA and the state booking-photo statute. News stories and private mugshot sites can still offer a lead. A name here, a date there, an agency tip. What they cannot do is confirm live custody, identity, or charge accuracy. Treat them as starting points. Take any match to WCSO or the court before you rely on it.
| Channel | Photo shown? | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| WCSO Current Inmate Roster | No photo in inspected interface | Current county-custody lead, not a certified roster. |
| WCSO Records | Request-dependent | Official booking record and photo request path. |
| UDC Offender Search | UDC identifies prison photos as a public-information category | Current state-supervision route, not a recent Weber booking list. |
| Utah Courts Xchange | No | Official court-case and disposition route. |
| Standard-Examiner Police & Fire | Varies by story | Selected event coverage, not a custody index. |
| RecentlyBooked, Mugshots.com, Arrests.org | Varies | Unofficial leads, possibly stale, incomplete, or misidentified. |
Local media can fill gaps. The Standard-Examiner Police & Fire desk and its Courts section cover selected agency activity, affidavits, filings, and hearings. For booking photos, private listings also exist. These include the RecentlyBooked Weber page, the Mugshots.com Weber index, and the Arrests.org Weber page. All sit far outside the official record. Confirm any match through WCSO or the court first.
Weber Jail Roster: Busted In Custody
The Current Inmate Roster is a name-search display. It covers people in Weber County custody right now. Type in a first name, a last name, or both. Common names produce false hits. So compare several fields on a result before deciding it matches your person. The terms say plainly that it is not the official inmate roster. Updates arrive hourly at most, and often slower. There is no refresh clock, no release date, no archive, and no stated retention window for web rows.
To search, the WCSO roster interface provides the public name fields described above.

A roster entry can hold a booking date and a case number. That gives you a thread to pull. Still, the listing alone won't answer a current-status or case-outcome question. Much of what you need sits in other court and jail records.
| Field | Use | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Last name | Primary name search | Try alternate spelling or hyphenation separately. |
| First name | Refines a match | Do not identify someone from a name alone. |
| Details | Shows added booking fields | Not a release or disposition record. |
One caution deserves a headline. The WCSO posts a bail-scam warning right on the roster. Deputies will never ask family to post bail through peer-to-peer apps or digital-payment services. If someone calls with that request, hang up. Then verify any custody or bail question through WCSO's official contact numbers on your own.
Note: An older booking date on a current roster row simply means the person is still listed when you search.
Weber Recent Booking Feeds
Weber County has no branded official feed for recent bookings. Same-day, 24-hour, 48-hour, 72-hour, weekly, and recent-release lists simply don't exist there. The roster does show a when-booked field. That's not a feed, though. The page has no date filter and no chronological view of new arrests. It also lacks a publication marker and any stated rule for who gets listed. The lone 72-hour figure is an internal classification detail, not a three-day list. There's no public release history or archive either. That means nobody can calculate a dependable release window from it.
Treat the Weber County roster as a limited current-custody lead, nothing more. Need something solid? Ask WCSO Records for an official booking or release record. Xchange covers filed cases. VINE can send a registered status alert. Ogden, Roy, and North Ogden also offer no verified daily arrest or booking blotter. Press releases, annual reports, and event stories all help. But they don't add up to a chronological county feed.
Weber Booking to Court Custody
People held in Weber County custody get arraigned the next court day, WCSO says. It's just a scheduling rule. The official public home for court information is Utah Courts Xchange. Court staff enter district and justice court records there. Public summaries can cover parties, attorneys, documents, hearings, judgments, and completed outcomes. Felonies and class A misdemeanors go to district court. Class B and C misdemeanors, infractions, and traffic matters mostly land in justice court.
The Utah Courts Xchange overview lays out the public case path that follows a Weber County booking.

When you compare a name, match the case number too. The booking date, the court, and the hearing history should line up as well. Keep one gap in mind. Public Xchange leaves out several categories of case, so a missing record there doesn't mean no case ever existed. It just means the public side can't see it.
| Stage | Official route | It does not answer |
|---|---|---|
| Current Weber custody | WCSO roster, then WCSO Records | Final court disposition. |
| Released or historical booking | WCSO Records request | Current state-supervision status. |
| Filed court case | Xchange or the court clerk | A full booking-photo record. |
| Current UDC supervision | UDC Offender Search | Every pretrial jail booking. |
| ICE or federal custody | ICE or BOP locator | A Weber arrest history. |
UDC's offender search covers people under state supervision right now. It leaves out people awaiting trial. It also skips anyone not yet sentenced in a county jail. So a UDC hit isn't proof of a fresh Weber County arrest. It could reflect a later supervision record that followed an adjudicated case. Or it might trace to some other custody arrangement entirely. Treat it as one clue among several, not the whole story.
Weber County Busted Mugshots by City
City arrests and county bookings live in separate systems. Ogden, Roy, and North Ogden all run their own police departments, yet none publishes a standing public roster of arrest photos. So where do you look? If the person landed in county custody, the WCSO roster is your best lead. Someone cited and released, or moved along another path, may simply never appear in a Weber County row at all.
- Ogden Busted Mugshots: Ogden City Police records, selected press releases, and WCSO custody records when detention follows.
- Roy Busted Mugshots: Roy Police records and the county route, with no city daily booking list located.
- North Ogden Busted Mugshots: North Ogden Police records and the same WCSO custody distinction.
